—-About kanium—-

Kanium is a gaming organization that has been in existence since 2012. Since then we have played and succeeded in several games. From PlanetSide 2 to DayZ. Kanium has let it’s presence been known in these communities. Leadership strives to keep Kanium competitive yet fun. We have no interest in drama or princess personalities. We do our best to meet the expectations of all members and all that we ask for in return is dedication and that you do your best.We have always taken PvP seriously. We enjoy competitive gaming. This has shown in Planetside 2 and DayZ. We like to win and do whatever it takes to win. Of course we realize were playing games and people don’t have all the time in the world. Hence we focus and rely more on our organizational and teamwork capacity. We do everything we realistically can to ensure we remain competitive and on top. Being in Kanium means you have the desire and the commitment to meet and overcome these challenges.

Kanium Values

Our group values are the defining facets of what makes our group as it is.

Community: here are many places you can go to to play games and have fun. However, if you’re looking for something higher to tie it all together, that’s where our emphasis on our community and interaction comes into play.

Activity: We aren’t in this to gather a roster of players who never play. If you join us, expect to see an active community that chops off the inactive fat on a regular basis.

Teamwork: We want people that enjoy- and focus on working as a team. Teamwork means having the vision and the ability to work together towards a common goal. It is what allows us to direct individual accomplishments and make this the fuel that allows common people to attain uncommon results. But don’t mistake this for being easy. Playing well together is hard.

Dedication: This is critical to Kanium to keep us effective and relevant. A dedicated group will always come out ahead in battles. It means we are always ready and willing to approach new and challenging methods. So long as our members stay dedicated, Kanium will always be relevant.

Loyalty: Loyalty is what help makes the motivation among the members bigger, to achieve the goals of the group, thus increasing the chance we achieve those goals. I feel loyalty can be seen in the history of Kanium by the number of core members who stay or still follow us. Many are unable to find a similar bond or environment elsewhere.

What makes a good kanium member?

Our application process is dead simple and only involves awnsering some questions and hopping on our TS3 to do a teamspeak check. Getting into Kanium is easy. What follows is a simple observation of new members and how they conduct them selfs. There are many things that we watch out for, some of them being as follow:
– Good sense of humor.
– Eager to learn and grow as a player.
– Teamwork-oriented mindset.
– Honest and accountable for their actions. (Both good and bad)
– Motivated and dedicated to making the group and our experiences the best they can be.

You’ll note that “skill” does not appear on that list – skill can after all be taught. Who you are as a person is far more important to us. We look for good people with good attitudes who can add real value to our community. But personalities are things we can’t really change neither do we want to bother with that. You can’t teach a rat how not to be a rat.

We currently have a restriction on ages – if you are under 18, you’ll need to wait. At this time we are accepting applicants who are 18 or older only. There are no exceptions to this. None. (Don’t bother asking.)

Also note that we are centered around the CET timezone. (EU)

Have any additional questions or something else you want to know? Then please hop on our TS3 and ask away.
